Values2_120x120.png
Our Values

We have a few key values that we expect all our members to actively promote. We believe that these are both important within the sport of Airsoft, and worthy values to develop in our personal lives.

Honesty and Integrity

Airsoft only works if we are all honest. Often you will not feel you are hit but you might hear it. If you are sure that you hit someone and they have not taken the hit, assume they did not notice and respectfully let them know it was a sure hit. Likewise, if someone calls you on it, even if you are sure it was not a hit, take it anyway. They feel better about it and it is not really a big deal if you need to walk and re-spawn.

Rather than playing to every advantage you can get within the rules, try playing to the spirit or intent of the scenario. This will help you to be more immersed in the game scenario and people will respect you for doing so. You notice this in things like a player turning around so they do not notice opponents movements while they are waiting to re-spawn.

Teamwork

A team working well together is always going to perform better than the same individuals doing their own thing. You can collectively work towards an objective and all enjoy it when the team succeeds. In a well working team, everyone feels they have something to contribute and people enjoy themselves, even if they are clearly on the losing side.

Sportsmanship and Respect

Ultimately we are all doing this to enjoy ourselves. What better way to help others enjoy themselves than to respect your opponents and have a laugh over shared experiences. If you are surprised by a grenade through a window, while you're waiting to come alive again, thank them for giving you a blast and grab the grenade for them so they are not exposed having to go and get it. If everyone on the field is helpful and respectful then everyone is going to have a better time out there.
