GET INVOLVED

The Western Front Airsoft Club is looking to increase its membership. We are always keen on introducing new people to the sport we love and it is great to get a wide diversity of people together that may not meet if it were not for this activity.

Who can try it?

Anyone over the age of 18, or 16 with either a Firearms License or parental consent can give it a go. These is no minimum fitness level required as we can adjust our games to suit players on the day. No military training or previous experience with firearms is required. We will go over what you need to know before we start.

What does it cost?

Our club aims to introduce the sport we love to as wider range of people as possible, and as such we try to keep the costs to a bare minimum. If you are trying this out for the first time and have no equipment of your own, $35 will cover everything you need for a full day of playing. Full costs below:

Field Fee for Members - Free

Field Fee for Non-Members - $10

*Gun and safety Gear Hire - $20

Magazine Refill - $5

Bag of BBs - $25

**Membership (One Year) - $80

* Gun hire needs to be pre-arranged and is issued on a first in first served basis.

When are games held?

Generally, we aim to have games every second weekend on local fields with occasional away-games with our friends in Christchurch. As a club we will also attend inter-club events and national ASNZ events. Game times can vary, but will usually be from 10AM until 3PM.

What do I need to bring?

We ask that all players dress appropriately for the environment and the weather conditions. This should include sturdy footwear, warm clothes and a jacket if rain is likely. You should also bring lunch, water and sun protection.

If you plan to hire a gun from us, we like to know this in advance if possible as this will help us ensure there are enough for everyone on the day.

If you have your own guns or other equipment, by all means bring this along. We will test any weapons to make sure they are safe for use on our fields.
